Another successful custom IP rated enclosure is completed here at CDT. We’re delighted to have completed this full box build project for a UK manufacturing management company EndtoEnd IT Ltd.
This project involved the design, manufacture, assembly and printing of a small run of custom IP54 enclosures used to house their PC workstations. This was all done under one roof at our factory in Brackley with one BOM, one invoice and one point of contact.
Custom IP54 Enclosure Fit for Purpose
We worked in partnership with the customer to design and build a robust, dust-proof custom enclosure that could protect the sensitive electronics in the PC workstations used in their industrial workshops where particularly wood dust was prevalent. The prototype was fully tested before we commenced with the production build and given an IP54 rating.
Built with black fire-retardant plastic (UL945VA), this medium-sized custom IP54 rated workstation enclosure is sturdy and dust-proof. It houses multiple components including an RFID card reader, barcode scanner and full wireless capability. It also utilises IP rated panel mount USB, RJ45 ethernet and IEC connection.
